Marquantex LLC, a California limited liability company (“Marquantex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the websites backtestedstrategies.com and marquantex.com (together, the “Site”). Backtested Strategies™ is a brand and trademark of Marquantex. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Site or communicate with us.
1) Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your email address when you submit an email opt-in or request materials. We and our service providers also collect information automatically when you access the Site, which may include IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages, and security or diagnostic data commonly recorded in server and security logs.
2) How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Site, prevent abuse, respond to requests, deliver requested materials, send marketing emails when you opt in, troubleshoot and improve the Site, and comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3) Email communications
If you opt in, we send marketing emails, and we may send fulfillment or administrative emails related to your requests. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. Our emails may include measurement features. As currently configured, open tracking is disabled and click tracking is enabled, meaning link clicks may be logged for purposes such as measuring engagement and supporting delivery troubleshooting.
4) Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies primarily for security, performance, and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare services to help deliver and secure the Site and Cloudflare Turnstile on forms to reduce spam and abuse. We use Google Search Console for search visibility and indexing diagnostics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated site measurement, and as currently configured it is intended to operate without on-site advertising or retargeting.
5) How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose information to service providers that help operate the Site and communications, such as hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, email delivery, and abuse prevention. We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6) European Economic Area and the United Kingdom
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on mechanisms recognized under applicable law for cross-border transfers.
7) International processing
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on mechanisms recognized under applicable law for cross-border transfers.
8) Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, or needed for legitimate business purposes such as security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary based on service provider systems and configuration.
9) Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights to object to certain processing, request restriction, request portability, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We may request information to verify a request and may deny requests as permitted by law.

12) Contact
Submit a privacy inquiry to contact us about privacy-related matters.
13) Changes
