This Cookie Policy explains how Marquantex LLC (“Marquantex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies in connection with Backtested Strategies™ (“BTS”) and backtestedstrategies.com (the “Site”). The Site may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technical mechanisms. The specific identifiers used can vary based on your browser, account state, security conditions, Site configuration, and the functions you use. The categories below describe the purposes for which these technologies are used.
2) Authentication and account operation
Cookies or similar technologies may be used to authenticate registered users, maintain a logged-in session, support account security, and preserve Site or account preferences. Disabling these technologies may prevent you from signing in or using member-only features correctly.

6) Analytics and performance measurement
We use aggregated site measurement to understand general Site usage, performance, traffic patterns, and technical operation. We do not use Site cookies or similar technologies for third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
7) No advertising or retargeting cookies
BTS does not operate an advertising-network or retargeting program on the Site. We do not use cookies or similar Site technologies to sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8) Third-party technologies
Third-party infrastructure, security, payment, membership, communications, or analytics providers may set or access technical identifiers when you interact with the functions they provide. Marquantex uses these providers to operate, secure, measure, or support the Site and related transactions.
Information you provide directly to a third party, or technologies controlled independently by that third party, may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
9) Your browser controls
Most browsers allow you to delete stored Site data, block or restrict cookies, or otherwise manage browser storage through browser settings. If you block technologies needed for authentication, security, checkout, or Site functionality, portions of the Site may not operate properly or may become unavailable.
Because BTS does not use the Site for behavioral advertising, the Site is not designed around legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals as a separate advertising preference. Where a privacy law applicable to Marquantex requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal for a particular practice, Marquantex will process that signal as required by that law.
